Meet Clarke Walker
My name is Clarke Walker and I run A.G. Sanning, a boutique business consulting firm specializing in geopolitical analysis. I have a B.A in Cultural Anthropology and History from the University of Michigan and a M.S. in Diplomacy and International Relations from Seton Hall University. Most of my background is in municipal government and public policy, but I have expertise in international affairs, nonprofit projects and human rights as well.
I started A. G. Sanning in 2019 to teach local business owners about global politics and how international events can affect them here in the USA. At AGS, I handle all the research, investigative, and data modeling aspects of client projects. I design and implement each project to support my clients’ agendas within their industry. Here are some of the topics I can help your business with:
• geopolitical risk
• open-source intelligence, geolocation and fact finding
• threat identification and conflict
• international relations and diplomacy
• human rights
• legislative policy analysis
Why I Do What I Do:
• I’m Curious- There’s a lot we don’t know about the world, and what we do know is mixed in with so much misinformation that it’s hard to know what’s real and what isn’t. My clients need verifiable, fact-checked proof to make the best decisions for their organizations. I want to provide that for them.
• I’m Resourceful- I understand strategy, logic, data and research. Numbers are what I’m best at.
• I’m Adventurous- I love traveling and building connections all over the world. I didn’t want to be stuck sitting in an office all day and the information my clients need isn’t always available online. That’s why A.G. Sanning uses a “boots on the ground” approach to international risk and research.
In this position I have researched and monitored international events to update briefings, RFIs (requests for information), and reports for my client base. I completed analyses of risks and threats associated with foreign and domestic policy. I develop a lot of projects using the research methodologies I learned during my time at the University of Michigan.
I am also Head Writer for the Global Perspectives Blog, a place where we discuss all things politics. We cover controversial topics in a way that is constructive and provides accurate, fact-based information. Connect with me on Linkedin or Substack.
